Scott & Winters Law Firm, LLC and Klafter Lesser LLP have filed Class and Collective Action lawsuits alleging that several companies have violated federal wage laws by failing to timely pay hourly employees all wages owed as a result of the Kronos security breach. These firms are investigating whether other companies have failed to pay all wages due.
The overtime provisions of federal law require that an employer must pay non-exempt employees at the rate of not less than one-and-one-half times their regular rates of pay for all hours over forty hours each workweek. Many State Laws also require the prompt payment of overtime and regular wages.
